Randy Morrison

Randy Morrison grew up in Northern California and spent as much time as he could get away with in the outdoors hunting, fishing, and trapping in his youth. He still enjoys spending time in the field hunting and fishing with family and friends whenever time allows. The majority of his working career was spent running his own business. He volunteered with a few conservation organizations for several years, and in January of 2010 he joined the MDF team because he is passionate about wildlife conservation, and wanted to give back to a resource that had given so much to him. After 11 years as the Regional Director for California, he took a position on the Conservation Team. Since 2021, as a senior partnership coordinator, he has enjoyed developing strong relationships with our many partners and implementing habitat improvement projects around the State. Since becoming the Director of Conservation Operations in 2024, Randy has added employee supervision and leadership in Conservation Operations to his list of duties.
