Erin Kahle

Caitlin has lived in Utah most of her life and loves all the beauty it holds. Growing up, summers were spent on camping trips with family and friends to visit National Parks across the Western US. On those trips, Caitlin enjoyed learning about local wildlife and the plant species in the area. In her teen years, backpacking with her dad became a summer hobby, and created some of her most cherished memories. Her love of the outdoors is something that has stayed with her, and she now shares that passion with her husband and their son. They try and get out to hike and camp as much as possible, stopping at nearly every water source for her son to throw rocks in. In her free time, Caitlin likes to bake yummy deserts and is learning how to decorate cakes. Caitlin joined MDF in January 2019 as an accounting clerk and has loved working for such a great organization that does amazing conservation work! Working for MDF helps her feel like she is giving back to the planet, and especially benefiting the landscape she grew up exploring.
